Team Overview

The Risk Operations team is dedicated to overseeing risk dynamics across various global payment methods and financial partnerships. Our objective is to establish operational safeguards that mitigate risks for both users and partners while facilitating strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Risk Operations Analyst, you will ensure that our policies, procedures, and workflows are in sync with the requirements of our financial partners. You will manage workflows that affect a wide array of internal and external stakeholders, focusing on identifying and evaluating regulatory, contractual, and partner risks. Additionally, you will guide operational teams to develop scalable processes that ensure compliance with service level agreements, routine reporting, and effective risk management.

What We Expect

• Exhibit sound judgment and the ability to navigate complex, high-risk decisions
• Assess merchants, from emerging startups to established companies, to determine their suitability for processing with Stripe
• Follow established processes while constantly challenging assumptions, proposing enhancements, and ensuring their implementation
• Communicate effectively and clearly with Stripes, Stripe's users, and financial partners
• Identify and report trends to cross-functional teams to improve detection systems
• Participate in projects aimed at refining and optimizing due diligence strategies, systems, and tools

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
