Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract, analyze, and interpret aviation mishap and hazard data to identify trends, causal factors, and actionable recommendations for hazard mitigation. 2) Safety Program Development: Design and implement analytical methods to improve aviation safety programs, including the development of safety advisories, lessons learned, and Fleet-wide safety articles. 3) Policy Interpretation and Compliance: Provide expert guidance on aviation safety policies, directives, and program compliance to ensure alignment with Department of Navy and Marine Corps safety goals. 4) Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Navy and Marine Corps commands, federal agencies, and other stakeholders to disseminate safety information and improve aviation safety standards. 5) Research and Publications: Conduct in-depth research, prepare graduate-level essays, white papers, and reports, and develop data visualizations to support findings and recommendations.
