The Money as a Service - User Oversight team operates within the Risk Strategy division, acting as a crucial risk management partner. We collaborate with various internal and external teams to ensure that Stripe users can safely and responsibly launch their products. As we broaden our product range and address intricate risk and compliance issues, we seek a skilled Risk Strategist to steer user oversight strategies, design and implement scalable risk programs, and facilitate the compliant introduction of regulated financial products.

Key Responsibilities

You will take the lead on the complete delivery process and establish the standards necessary for granting new users access to regulated financial products, while also managing their ongoing access. Your role will involve influencing both internal product and go-to-market strategies, ensuring that Stripe's program integrity is represented to banking partners, regulators, and users alike. You will engage with both prospective and current users, providing education and support to our Product and Go-To-Market teams, while enhancing program effectiveness across all stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

• Act as the chief strategic consultant for the compliant rollout of regulated financial products such as Issuing, Capital, and Treasury, creating sustainable solutions that safeguard Stripe while promoting user growth.
• Establish and manage the risk standards framework for both new and existing regulated offerings, directly impacting product and go-to-market plans, ensuring that risk controls are woven into product design from the start.
• Oversee and coordinate internal and external approvals for Stripe user's content regarding financial product integrations, fostering alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a rigorous audit process for Stripe users, assessing marketing materials, user communications, and experience documentation, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable program enhancements.
• Create, execute, and refine a scalable compliance monitoring program; lead remediation initiatives directly with users of Stripe and instigate systemic, long-lasting solutions to mitigate recurring issues.

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
