Team Dynamics

The Data Migrations team is integral to ensuring that sensitive data transitions smoothly to and from the Stripe platform. This team collaborates with various global payment service providers, Stripe users, and internal teams to guarantee secure and timely transfers of payment information.

Your Role

As a Data Migrations Specialist, you will be pivotal in guiding users through their migration to Stripe, particularly focusing on our most intricate enterprise clients. You will manage migrations for diverse Stripe users, offering insights and tailored recommendations based on their specific migration needs. Collaborating with external partners and internal teams—including engineering, go-to-market, professional services, and product—you will leverage your technical expertise while juggling multiple migration projects and continuously seeking ways to enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main representative for the Data Migrations team, working closely with both existing and prospective Stripe users, third-party processors, and internal teams.
• Develop deep knowledge of data migration processes to, from, and within the Stripe platform.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and procedures through clear and concise documentation tailored to various audiences.
• Build and nurture relationships with external payment providers and Stripe internal teams, driving the identification and implementation of best practices.
• Enhance team processes, documentation, and tools to improve the scalability of Stripe’s user migration initiatives.
• Identify and resolve technical and procedural challenges, managing escalations and ensuring accountability among stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a user-facing technical role, a strong enthusiasm for technology, and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
