We are on the lookout for a Cloud Engineer to fortify the foundations of our cloud infrastructure, emphasizing AWS multi-account governance, IAM security protocols, and Infrastructure as Code automation. This pivotal role is essential for constructing secure and scalable cloud platforms that drive our international payment solutions, while collaborating closely with our Platform and Security teams to ensure excellence in operations and compliance.
Responsibilities : - Enhance and support Paymentology’s AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on multi-account governance through AWS Organizations, Landing Zone frameworks, and Service Control Policy guardrails. - Design, implement, and maintain secure IAM roles and policies, ensuring access controls adhere to least privilege and compliance standards. - Develop, modularize, and manage Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for scalable, repeatable, and secure infrastructure deployments. - Integrate automation within CI/CD pipelines to maintain consistency across development, testing, and production stages. - Implement and support essential AWS infrastructure services such as API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, and application and network load balancers. - Work closely with Platform Engineering and Security teams to align infrastructure standards and ensure operational reliability. - Assist in troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis to sustain high availability and performance of cloud environments. - Maintain comprehensive Confluence documentation, operational runbooks, and infrastructure standards to ensure long-term platform sustainability. Requirements : - Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly in multi-account settings, Landing Zone governance, and cloud security best practices. - Deep knowledge of IAM governance, encompassing role-based access control, least privilege policy design, and cross-account access methodologies. - Advanced proficiency in Terraform, including the development of reusable modules and management across multiple environments.
