Growth Marketing Senior Engineer - Buffer (Remote)

Buffer seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to drive growth through exceptional web experiences. Join our Growth Marketing team to craft the digital touchpoints that fuel Buffer's expansion. You'll build everything from interactive tools and conversion flows on buffer.com to the technical infrastructure powering our marketing initiatives.

This role demands versatility - expertise in React and modern frontend development, plus willingness to tackle backend integrations, third-party APIs, and analytics pipelines.

Responsibilities **

• Spearhead growth engineering initiatives including localization frameworks for global reach, referral program systems, and enhanced tracking implementations • Develop compelling marketing site features: landing pages, interactive calculators, benchmarks, and utility tools that engage users and drive conversions • Architect marketing platform capabilities through A/B testing infrastructure, programmatic SEO page generation, and reusable component libraries • Execute experimentation strategies by implementing tests, analyzing conversion funnels, and iterating based on performance data • Maintain integrations with marketing tech stack (Segment, GTM, Mixpanel, BigQuery) while ensuring site performance, accessibility, and security • Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to system reliability through bug fixes and continuous improvements • Foster engineering excellence through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring team members on growth and marketing engineering practices

Requirements **

You'll collaborate directly with Simon (Director of Marketing), David (Senior Design Engineer), and Kate (Senior Designer) in a fast-paced environment that values rapid iteration and attention to craft. Our team ships quickly, learns from real user behavior, and maintains high standards while sustaining momentum. This hands-on role requires someone comfortable across the full frontend spectrum who can figure out unfamiliar territory and own projects from conception through launch.

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
