DevOps Engineer - Legal, AB | Remote Work Available at Modaxo Inc.

## Overview

Modaxo Inc. is rapidly expanding and seeks a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Legal, AB. This exciting remote opportunity allows you to manage and scale infrastructure across our centralized IT platforms while supporting 20+ independently operated business units spanning Canada, the United States, Brazil, Australia, and beyond. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining decentralized operations while establishing centralized standards for infrastructure, automation, identity management, and support practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure platforms • Oversee DNS management, networking, VPNs, and infrastructure elements in hybrid environments • Handle Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Jump Cloud directory services administration and optimization • Manage identity and access systems through Okta and SSO technologies integration • Maintain and configure Cloudflare settings including DNS, WAF, and Zero Trust features • Advance DevOps methodologies through infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation • Deliver remote system administration across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms • Handle L1/L2 IT support escalations throughout the company portfolio when needed • Monitor system performance and health, manage incident response, and support on-call duties • Collaborate with Business Unit IT teams on infrastructure, security, and operational requirements • Maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards and frameworks including SOC 2, PCI, and HIPAA

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Operations, or Systems Engineering positions • Proven expertise with AWS and Azure cloud platforms • Jump Cloud, Azure AD, and M365 administration experience • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation • Comprehensive knowledge of networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and routing • Hands-on experience with Okta including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management • Multi-platform system support capabilities across Windows, macOS, and Linux • Demonstrated Cloudflare management experience • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business units with varying technical capabilities • Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and ownership mentality

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
