Responsibilities : In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans that address the unique health needs of each resident. You will also supervise and mentor nursing staff and personal support workers (PSWs), ensuring that they provide the highest standard of care. Your collaboration with families and interdisciplinary healthcare teams is essential for creating a holistic care environment.
Additionally, you will monitor staff performance, conduct evaluations, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, all while promoting a respectful and empathetic atmosphere.
Requirements : To be considered for this position, you must hold a current Registered Nurse certification from a recognized authority and have a basic CPR certification.
Experience in long-term care is preferred, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. A Vulnerable Sector Check will be required for this role.
