**Overview** Binnie's Water & Wastewater Division seeks a passionate Civil or Mechanical Design Engineer to join our remote team. As an employee-owned company with 300+ professionals across BC, we specialize in designing sanitary, water, and storm drainage systems, pump stations, and utility infrastructure. You'll work with experienced Project Managers, Technologists, and Engineers while building meaningful client relationships and advancing your career in water and wastewater engineering.

Responsibilities ** • Create design drawings, technical reports, letters, and memorandums for water/wastewater projects • Lead and coordinate design teams throughout project development phases • Provide construction engineering support and oversight for your assigned projects • Cultivate and maintain strong client partnerships across diverse markets • Lead or contribute to proposal preparation and fee development processes • Execute quality control procedures and technical reviews • Prepare and verify design calculations for complex utility systems • Support Senior Project Managers and inspection teams from proposal through project handover • Take on progressive leadership roles in project delivery and client management

Requirements ** • Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree with focus on water/wastewater systems •
Experience with sanitary, water, and storm drainage design • Strong technical skills in utility infrastructure and pump station design • Excellent communication abilities for client interface and team collaboration • Interest in taking on design engineer and project management responsibilities • Enthusiasm for developing innovative solutions to technical challenges • Desire to build local relationships and grow within the water/wastewater industry
