Responsibilities As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will spearhead the development of a robust security program that enhances the overall security posture of the organization. Your primary focus will include: - Crafting and executing a scalable information security strategy that aligns with the company's objectives while ensuring compliance with essential regulations such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and local data protection laws. - Leading the end-to-end security risk management framework, identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security risks, and effectively communicating these risks to executive leadership and the board. - Collaborating with various executives to formulate comprehensive security strategies that integrate seamlessly into the organizational goals. - Educating staff on best IT practices and ensuring awareness of regulatory requirements.
Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess: - Proven experience in information security governance, risk management, and compliance within a global organization. - A deep understanding of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, and systems in relation to IT security and risk. - Exceptional skills in articulating complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including executive teams and board members. - Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and guide your team in achieving strategic and functional objectives. -
Experience in developing and disseminating company-wide security policies and governance documents. - The ability to work collaboratively across departments, think critically, and make informed decisions. - A thorough knowledge of cybersecurity principles, industry standards, and best practices. - Proven success in scaling security programs within high-growth technology or fintech environments. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
