Join the Event Services team at Stripe, dedicated to executing exceptional hybrid events. We prioritize quality and service excellence, utilizing advanced technology and industry best practices. As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be key to operating internal broadcasts for events like company-wide All Hands, customer-facing engagements, and informal Fireside chats. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team committed to enhancing our production workflows and integrating innovative technologies into our in-house production processes.
Your Role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Engineer responsible for managing event operations for global hybrid events, whether onsite or remote, including:
- Serve as the Technical Director, possessing a deep understanding of live event production and streaming technologies pertinent to corporate events.
- Assist team members and stakeholders in executing live broadcasts, including Event webinars, All Hands, Firesides, and Q&A sessions.
- Manage the selection, installation, and operation of technical equipment for event spaces.
- Lead the direction of technical rehearsals and productions from inception to completion.
- Drive innovation in event broadcasting through best practices, collaborating with event stakeholders and internal production teams to ensure achievable event goals.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and promote a collaborative team environment.
- Oversee event production and executive producing for live events.
- Camera operation and strategic placement.
- Basic lighting coordination, focusing on familiarity with lighting for film, TV, and broadcast.
- Manage front-of-house sound, working as A1/A2.
- Perform live video switching using systems such as Analog Way, Tricaster, vMix, and AJA.
- Operate third-party integrated systems, including QSC, Zoom, BirdDog, Sony, and Dante flows.
