**Overview**
The Canada Life Assurance Company seeks a detail-oriented professional for a temporary full-time, 12-month contract position reporting to the Manager of Strategic Initiatives. This role demands exceptional analytical capabilities and creative problem-solving skills to tackle sophisticated business challenges involving legacy advisor contract analysis and system optimization.

Responsibilities **
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of advisor contract statuses and develop strategic recommendations • Monitor investigation timelines to ensure project milestones and critical deadlines are achieved • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients regarding contract modifications and licensing requirements • Evaluate the business impact of proposed solutions across advisor relationships, system functionality, and operational workflows • Develop business requirements and execute UAT testing protocols to ensure precision (occasional weekend testing may be necessary) • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose process improvements while assessing associated risks • Deliver expert guidance and support to advisors and business stakeholders • Resolve complex, one-of-a-kind business scenarios and technical challenges • Complete additional projects as assigned

Requirements **
• Comprehensive understanding of advisor contracts and compensation structures, particularly Great-West Life legacy systems • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel • Exceptional attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities • Commitment to quality deliverables and deadline management • Superior organizational skills with capacity for multitasking and priority management in both independent and collaborative environments • Strong documentation and record-keeping capabilities for project testing outcomes • Rapid learning ability with innovative thinking approach • Optimistic mindset toward organizational change and improvement initiatives
This hybrid position requires three office days weekly in Winnipeg or London, Ontario. Base salary ranges from $51,400-$77,100 annually, excluding variable compensation components.
