Workday Accounting Center Manager - Remote AMS Role at Huron Consulting

**Overview**

Huron Consulting Services, a leading global consultancy headquartered in New York, seeks a skilled Workday Accounting Center Manager to join their Application Managed Services team. This remote position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in Workday Financials while supporting clients through strategic growth and digital transformation initiatives. You'll serve as a functional expert, delivering hands-on leadership for accounting solutions in post-production environments.

**Responsibilities**

• Lead Accounting Center configuration and accounting integrations for AMS clients
• Manage reconciliation processes and financial reporting in production environments
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements
• Oversee release impact management and ensure compliant accounting solutions
• Support downstream financial processes with accurate, scalable configurations
• Partner directly with finance stakeholders to analyze business requirements
• Produce functional specifications and support comprehensive testing activities
• Drive ongoing optimization and issue resolution within managed services framework

**Requirements**

• 3-5 years proven experience implementing/supporting Workday Accounting Center in production or AMS environments
• Demonstrated expertise as functional subject matter expert for accounting event configuration and journal generation
• Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics, including data modeling and reporting enablement
• 3-5 years analyzing accounting requirements and troubleshooting complex production issues
• Strong capability translating business transactions into scalable Accounting Center configurations
• Experience with AMS or managed support optimization and enhancement projects
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• No travel required unless client-requested
• Workday certification preferred, especially Financial Management or Accounting Center

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
