Overview
Join Stripe's dynamic Mexico City team as a Verification Risk Operations Associate, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our financial infrastructure platform that serves millions of businesses worldwide. This hands-on position focuses on managing large-user special handling processes, coordinating complex migrations, and executing verification activities that directly impact our mission to increase the internet's GDP. You'll be part of an innovative, collaborative environment that handles over one million support cases annually while maintaining excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate comprehensive large-user migrations from start to finish, including technical coordination, grace period implementations (AMP), progress monitoring, and obstacle resolution to ensure seamless large-scale onboarding
- Execute and analyze Hubble/SQL queries while developing streamlined dashboards to monitor migration progress, track rejection patterns, maintain SLA compliance, and manage workflow backlogs
- Manage internal system queue configurations for migration processes, including queue creation, updates, closures, and establishing routing protocols for high-volume operational changes
- Perform KYC/KYB document assessments and render verification determinations for both standard onboarding procedures and exceptional cases
- Facilitate communication across account teams, Vendor Managers, and external clients through status meetings, escalation management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Participate in real-time troubleshooting via user calls and incident channels, rapidly addressing blockers and contributing to incident response protocols
- Deliver comprehensive weekly and ad-hoc progress reports to stakeholders and leadership teams
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience with data analysis tools.
