Join Airbnb's Unified Data Store (UDS) team in Brazil and help build the backbone that powers one of the world's largest hospitality platforms. Since welcoming its first three guests in 2007, Airbnb has grown to support over 5 million hosts and 2 billion guest arrivals globally. Our UDS team creates the reliable, scalable, and globally distributed storage infrastructure that safeguards all of Airbnb's critical data - from user profiles to reservations and financial records.

Responsibilities **
As a Software Engineer on our team, you'll tackle exciting technical challenges across two key areas. In our UDS Client Stack, you'll architect and maintain high-performance data access layers that provide seamless interfaces for online product data, abstracting complex storage, indexing, and security processes to accelerate product development. You'll also focus on Tooling, Automation and Developer
Experience , creating solutions that simplify how Airbnb engineers interact with data through schema management tools, testing frameworks, deployment automation, and monitoring systems that enhance both productivity and reliability.

Requirements **
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience • Proven track record building and operating distributed systems • Strong grasp of systems and infrastructure fundamentals • Ability to take ownership and navigate complex codebases • Dedication to writing clean, maintainable code
You'll collaborate with world-class engineers to evolve modern distributed infrastructure services, becoming the go-to expert on data storage systems and high-performance APIs while guiding product teams on large-scale system optimization.
