Overview: Join Co-reactive, a pioneer in sustainable construction, as we innovate the industry by converting CO₂ into advanced building materials. Our mission is to enable CO₂-efficient construction accessible to all. With our sustainable cement substitute that permanently binds CO₂, we are scaling our production to an industrial level.

Located in Erkrath, near Düsseldorf, our dynamic team of over 10 professionals thrives on collaboration across our technical center, production, and office.

Responsibilities : As part of your thesis project, you will play a crucial role in developing and validating a computer model for our carbon mineralization process. Your key tasks will include: - Organizing, preprocessing, and structuring data from our newly established demonstration plant. - Analyzing and quantifying the differences between model predictions and actual data. - Implementing refined modeling assumptions to enhance accuracy. You will closely collaborate with our engineering and R&D teams, gaining invaluable experience in an industrial setting focused on creating CO₂-negative building materials.

Requirements : We are looking for candidates currently pursuing degrees in chemical engineering, computational engineering science, computer science, or a related discipline. Ideal applicants will have a keen interest in thermodynamics, computer science, and chemical process modeling.
