Responsibilities **
• Lead complex workers' compensation and disability cases independently, including executive-level files and escalated matters requiring strategic sensitivity • Drive appeals processes by crafting written submissions, organizing evidence, and representing the company at hearings and tribunal sessions • Deliver comprehensive case analysis to guide team members on medical, legal, and entitlement factors • Collaborate with Legal department on cases involving significant liability, reputational concerns, or precedent-setting implications • Function as subject matter authority on provincial workers' compensation laws, policies, and appeal procedures nationwide • Design and execute training programs covering workers' compensation, disability management, and appeals processes • Mentor new team members through coaching sessions and live case reviews following training completion • Examine disability and claims analytics to spot trends, cost factors, and process enhancement opportunities • Spearhead quality assurance for appeal documentation ensuring accuracy and strong evidence supporting cost reduction goals

Requirements **
• Post-secondary degree in Disability Management, Occupational Health, Human Resources, Paralegal studies, or related discipline • CDMP, CRTWC, or equivalent professional certification preferred • 5+ years of specialized experience in Workers'
Compensation and Disability Management • Proven track record managing complex cases and appeals processes
Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
