Overview As the TeleSales Team Leader at SumUp, based in vibrant Berlin, you will play a crucial role in driving growth within our DACH region. Our TeleSales team is dedicated to equipping small business owners across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with essential tools for success. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, guiding their team with enthusiasm and a focus on achievement.
Responsibilities In this role, you will: - Lead and mentor a team of Inbound Sales Representatives, conducting regular one-on-one sessions, call shadowing, and performance evaluations to ensure they meet and exceed their targets. - Actively participate in live calls, assisting your team in closing deals and exemplifying the behaviors that define exceptional sales performance. - Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, translating data into actionable insights for continuous improvement. - Cultivate a positive team culture where constructive feedback is welcomed, learning is prioritized, and successes are celebrated. - Collaborate with fellow sales leaders to enhance processes, share effective strategies, and contribute to the overall DACH sales approach.
Requirements To excel in this position, you should have: - A minimum of three years of experience leading a sales team, with a proven track record of developing talent and achieving targets. - A hands-on approach, comfortable engaging directly in sales calls and supporting your team throughout the sales process. - Fluency in German (C1 level or above) and proficient business-level English. - Strong coaching skills, capable of providing candid, constructive feedback while maintaining high team morale. - The ability to work with performance data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and adapt strategies swiftly.
