Overview: The Department of Defense seeks a skilled IT professional to join our team at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. This GG-13 position offers an opportunity to work on critical information technology systems that support national defense operations.
Responsibilities : Lead comprehensive analysis, design, and implementation of IT systems while overseeing test event operations. Deliver actionable solutions for complex IT system test result challenges and guide projects across multiple levels of scope and complexity. Present technical findings to senior leadership and IT personnel, translating sophisticated technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders by understanding their current and future technology requirements.
Requirements : Candidates must demonstrate one year of qualifying experience equivalent to the next lower federal grade level. Essential competencies include meticulous attention to detail with proven ability to review personal work and oversee others' outputs for accuracy and standards compliance. Strong customer service background with experience developing tailored IT solutions based on client needs assessment.
Excellent oral communication skills, particularly in briefing executives and technical teams on system status, projects, and operations. Advanced problem-solving capabilities including identifying creative alternatives for unique, complex, or sensitive IT challenges, plus ability to anticipate issues and evaluate information sources for solution development. All qualifications must be clearly documented in your resume and satisfied within 30 days of the announcement closing date.
Both paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work and military service, will be considered.
