**Overview**
Join Boulevard, the leading client experience platform transforming appointment-based self-care businesses including salons, spas, medspas, and barbershops. As we expand internationally and support complex franchise operations, we're seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape the foundational systems that power our entire platform. This strategic role focuses on designing scalable frameworks for identity, payments, permissions, APIs, and data architecture.

Responsibilities **
• Drive platform-level design strategy alongside Product and Engineering teams, establishing success metrics aligned with long-term company objectives • Create foundational design concepts, patterns, and frameworks that enable scalability and flexibility across Boulevard's ecosystem • Guide platform evolution to accommodate upmarket customers with sophisticated workflows and operational requirements • Design solutions for multi-location businesses, balancing centralized oversight with local operational flexibility • Support international growth through localization strategies and globally scalable design patterns • Transform complex technical challenges into intuitive, trustworthy user experiences • Collaborate extensively with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation

Requirements **
• Proven experience as a senior product designer with platform or system-level design expertise • Strong strategic thinking capabilities with ability to operate in ambiguous environments • Systems thinking approach to design challenges •
Experience designing for scalability across diverse customer segments and use cases • Track record of translating complex technical requirements into user-friendly solutions • Excellent collaboration skills for cross-functional partnership • Passion for creating foundational design work that impacts entire product ecosystems
