Responsibilities : As a Senior Software Engineer in Community Support Engineering, you will play a crucial role in advancing our engineering capabilities in China. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating across teams with product, design, and engineering to align on product strategies and create innovative features. - Leading the entire development lifecycle, from technical design to launch, while also engaging in code reviews and providing constructive feedback on specifications. - Ensuring effective communication of technical specifications and implementation strategies among engineers. - Adapting to collaborative discussions with design and product partners, presenting options and refining solutions for optimal results. - Writing clean, maintainable code and mentoring fellow engineers to uphold coding standards. - Managing project delivery as the point of contact, maintaining stakeholder communication and quality assurance throughout the process. - Contributing to the evolution of Airbnb's engineering practices and frameworks, ensuring our technological backbone remains robust and forward-thinking. - Offering valuable insights into team roadmaps and technical direction.
