Responsibilities As part of our data platform team, you will: - Architect, develop, and manage a robust data platform that enhances data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, monitoring, and accessibility. - Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to identify and understand their data requirements. - Drive the technical vision and roadmap for the data platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization. You will engage with cutting-edge technologies, including Google Cloud Platform (CloudRun, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataform), SQLMesh, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Python, and SQL, while utilizing BI tools to create a seamless data experience.
Requirements To thrive in this role, you should have: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering, ideally in a fast-paced tech setting. - A deep understanding of data processes at scale, including ingestion, transformation, and modeling. - Strong software engineering practices applied to data pipelines. -
Experience with data governance, encompassing data catalogs, IAM, metadata management, and data discovery. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and HCL (Terraform), with extensive experience in public cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Familiarity with BI tools and their integration within modern data frameworks. - A customer-centric approach and a keen understanding of product development for data-driven solutions. - Proficient English communication skills; German knowledge is a plus. Bonus points for experience with IoT applications and streaming data.
