Responsibilities As a Senior Commercial Title Examiner, you will delve into public records and evaluate titles to assess the legal standing of primarily commercial or industrial properties. Your role will involve summarizing or copying recorded documents that affect the title condition. You'll tackle varied and complex assignments that demand extensive experience with different property types while serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
You'll work on significant projects, including multi-million dollar commercial properties and thorough searches involving railroads, canals, and waterways, which may require several days or weeks to complete.
Requirements To thrive in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have over 10 years of directly related experience. A keen attention to detail and quality, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are essential. You must have a customer service orientation and be proficient in Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with legal terminology used in title documents, as well as the ability to interpret legal descriptions relevant to title orders, is crucial.
Salary Range: $30.14 - $40.18 Hourly This salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the base pay for this position at the time of posting and is influenced by various factors.
Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
