Responsibilities : As a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will play an integral role in transforming Germany's digital landscape by focusing on secure, scalable, and future-ready cloud platforms. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating in project teams across various industries to analyze client requirements and devise effective technical solutions. - Designing, building, and enhancing modern cloud and platform architectures, particularly with Kubernetes in private cloud environments and select public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT, IONOS). - Architecting and designing scalable, secure, and maintainable system landscapes. - Setting up and managing container platforms utilizing Docker and Kubernetes. - Automating CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and release cycles using tools like GitLab, ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps. - Implementing infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code methodologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). - Evaluating existing architectures and providing actionable recommendations. - Mentoring team members on cloud and platform-related topics. - Participating in internal ARES initiatives.
Requirements : - A completed degree or IT training. - Extensive experience in cloud or platform environments, especially in private cloud or hybrid settings. - Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code. - Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, STACKIT). - Relevant experience in the DevOps domain. - Proficiency in designing cloud and platform architectures (IaaS/PaaS). - A practical approach to IT security. - Ideally, some experience in consulting. - Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and a strong communicator who thrives in team settings. - Eager to learn quickly and take on responsibilities. - Willingness to travel within Germany (averaging a maximum of 3 days/month). - Excellent command of both German and English. - Preparedness for a security clearance (SÜ1 or SÜ2) as per SÜG.
