Responsibilities : - **Platform Development**: Spearhead the creation, development, and deployment of resilient, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot 3 on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - **Feature Ownership**: Take charge of the entire lifecycle for new platform features, from initial technical design and requirement discussions with product and support teams to thorough testing and deployment. - **Problem Solving**: Engage deeply with business logic, address intricate API integrations for Shopify, and devise solutions that deliver tangible benefits to our customers in the accounting and e-commerce sectors. - **Reliability Management**: Actively monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance production environments to guarantee optimal performance and reliability. - **Collaboration and Mentoring**: Contribute to code reviews, share insights with the team, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
Requirements : - A minimum of 5 years in backend development, with proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework. -
Experience with AI Coding Tools and a desire to promote AI integration within our development processes. - Strong analytical skills with a talent for deconstructing complex challenges, clarifying requirements with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and designing well-structured solutions. - Extensive experience with Shopify GraphQL APIs, including managing complex third-party integrations. - Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying applications on cloud platforms, ideally GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, PubSub, etc.). - Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve uncertainties effectively. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with familiarity in using Git, continuous deployment pipelines (such as Gitlab), and agile practices like monthly scope planning and regular code reviews.
