Responsibilities **
• Research emerging technologies and modern engineering methodologies to enhance platform capabilities • Develop working prototypes and technical pilots that demonstrate improved solutions • Champion AI-powered development tools and automation initiatives across teams • Guide engineering teams toward superior architectural patterns and practices • Streamline technical complexity while reducing operational expenses • Question established technical approaches when superior alternatives emerge • Lead our Architecture Guild, collaborating with Solution Architects on strategic technical decisions • Influence through demonstrated expertise and functional prototypes rather than authority • Continuously evaluate new frameworks and tools for genuine scalability improvements • Implement automation solutions that eliminate operational bottlenecks

Requirements **
• Proven experience developing robust, production-grade software systems beyond prototype level • Deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture and platform design principles • Passion for hands-on experimentation with cutting-edge technologies • Strong interest in AI applications, automation, and developer efficiency tools • Preference for practical implementation over extensive documentation • Track record of challenging technical conventions constructively • Ability to influence experienced engineers through code-backed arguments and logical reasoning
Work remotely within Germany (or broader Europe) while contributing to real-world energy infrastructure that millions depend on daily.
