Remote Full Stack Mobile Developer - Expo/TypeScript Focus

**Overview**

We Work Remotely is looking for a driven Full Stack Developer to become part of our vibrant engineering team. You'll take ownership of the complete development process for cross-platform mobile applications built with Expo and TypeScript, alongside handling backend systems and cloud authentication services. This remote contract position spans 2-3 months with extension possibilities based on your contributions and project requirements.

Position begins in 2 months.

Responsibilities **

• Create and maintain robust mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms utilizing Expo framework (React Native) • Build comprehensive full-stack solutions including scalable backend APIs and frontend interfaces with smooth data integration • Deploy secure authentication systems using Azure Active Directory B2C, managing tokens and refresh mechanisms • Engage actively in Agile processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives while managing JIRA task breakdown and estimation • Produce clean, maintainable TypeScript code following architectural best practices for performance and error handling • Operate independently while maintaining team collaboration and making strategic technical architecture decisions

Requirements **

• Proven expertise with Expo Framework including EAS Build, Expo Updates, and Config plugins with app store deployment experience • Advanced TypeScript skills covering strict typing, generics, interfaces, and type guards for both frontend and backend development • Hands-on Azure B2C integration experience including custom policies, MSAL, and secure mobile token storage • Deep understanding of iOS/Android development concepts within React Native environment • Background in RESTful or GraphQL API development with Node.js preferred • Demonstrated Agile/Scrum methodology experience with independent ticket management capabilities
