Remote Aerospace Program Manager & Lead Auditor - SGS Brightsight

**Overview**

SGS, the global leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification with 96,000+ employees across 2,600 offices worldwide, seeks an experienced professional to spearhead our North America ANAB Accredited Aerospace Program. This fully remote position combines strategic program management with hands-on auditing expertise to ensure AS9104 and ISO 17021 compliance while driving business growth.

Responsibilities **

• Direct the complete North America Aerospace Program and accreditation operations, ensuring service quality meets business standards and technical KPIs • Conduct AS9100 and AS9120 audits as certified AS Lead Auditor • Partner with NAM Business Teams to enhance customer services, resolve certification conflicts, handle client complaints, and streamline processes • Drive business development through market trend analysis, technical content creation, conference speaking, and representation at key AS Association meetings • Manage IAQG Resolutions implementation and maintain comprehensive tracking logs • Oversee audit package reviews, technical assessments, and turnaround time monitoring for all AS auditors • Process Aerospace client NCR submissions, providing timely approvals or rejections for certificate decisions • Handle OASIS feedback notices including client transfers, Boeing, and DCMA requests • Execute internal Aerospace Program audits and manage ANAB-issued NCRs from office and witness audits • Mentor field auditors, communicate program updates and interpretations • Analyze client proposal documents to prepare for subsequent visits and scope modifications • Participate in quarterly Registration Management Committee meetings with Americas Aerospace Quality Group • Collaborate with VP of Industrial and Mobility on strategic business development initiatives

Requirements **

Candidates must possess extensive aerospace auditing experience, AS Lead Auditor certification, and proven program management capabilities in accredited environments. Strong business development acumen and excellent communication skills essential for client interaction and industry representation.
