**Overview:**
Join NV5's Technology & Acoustics division as an Acoustical Consultant in this fully remote opportunity available across the United States and Canada. NV5 stands as a premier provider of compliance, technology, and engineering consulting services, delivering specialized expertise in audiovisual systems, telecommunications, security, lighting, healthcare technologies, and architectural acoustics. Be part of a close-knit team of dynamic acousticians dedicated to providing exceptional client solutions using cutting-edge tools and innovative technical approaches.

**Responsibilities:**
Serve as the lead acoustical consultant on diverse national and regional projects spanning classrooms, lecture halls, healthcare facilities, courthouses, conference centers, casinos, theaters, media production spaces, and broadcast studios. You'll develop comprehensive solutions for room acoustics, sound isolation, mechanical system noise control, vibration management, and environmental acoustics. Key duties include creating technical drawings, preparing detailed reports, utilizing acoustic modeling software, and conducting field testing. Collaborate effectively with architectural teams and clients while managing multiple concurrent projects. Participate in business development activities, attend project meetings, conduct site visits, and ensure all deliverables meet NV5's exceptional quality standards within budget and timeline constraints.

**Requirements:**
5-10 years of consulting experience in architectural acoustics field. Bachelor's degree in acoustics, audio/music engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical discipline required. Strong proficiency with acoustic modeling software and technical documentation. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to travel for on-site inspections and testing as needed. Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
