**Overview**
Mitsui Chemicals America, Inc. seeks a dedicated Product Stewardship Specialist to join our Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance team. This remote professional role offers the opportunity to ensure chemical product compliance across federal, state, and local regulations while supporting our quality management systems. Based in White Plains, NY or SOHO, you'll report to the QA/RC Manager and play a vital role in maintaining regulatory excellence.

Responsibilities **
• Support Mid Term Plan (MTP) and Budget development by analyzing past performance and gathering strategic information • Ensure adherence to MTP and Budget policies while making authorized decisions as part of a collaborative team • Oversee management system maintenance through accurate record-keeping, organized documentation, and comprehensive reporting • Serve as the primary product stewardship specialist, handling sensitive information with confidentiality and objectivity • Communicate directly with federal, state, and local government regulatory bodies • Monitor evolving EPA, FDA, DOT, OSHA, BIS, CBP regulations including TSCA, HAZMAT, HCS-GHS, ECRA/EAR, EU REACH, EU RoHS, EU ELV, and food-related regulations • Conduct supplier surveys covering QA, product stewardship, Kosher, HALAL, Organic, GMO, BSE, and TSE requirements • Prepare compliance declarations such as IEC 62474, food contact material statements, and IMDS entries based on customer specifications

Requirements **
• Professional-level experience without direct reports required • Strong understanding of chemical product regulatory compliance • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction • Ability to analyze complex regulatory information and synthesize data effectively •
Experience with quality management systems preferred • Detail-oriented approach to documentation and record maintenance
Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
