In this role, you will engage in comprehensive cleaning tasks that maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various surfaces.

Responsibilities : As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, your duties will encompass a range of essential cleaning activities, including but not limited to: - Thoroughly dry mopping, wet mopping, and polishing hard floor surfaces using both handheld and walk-behind buffing machines. - Stripping and finishing hard surfaces either manually or with power tools as necessary. - Collecting and transporting garbage from designated drop points to bins or compactors, including operating and maintaining the compactor regularly. - Moving cleaning equipment between floors or job sites as required. - Handling the cleaning of glass surfaces that necessitate ladders or scaffolding for access. - Maintaining washroom cleanliness by washing, stripping, and finishing floors. - Cleaning stairwells and elevator cabs, utilizing ladders as needed. - Washing walls and ceilings while dusting light fixtures and ceiling fans. - Utilizing pile lifting tools for carpet restoration and shampooing broadloom using extraction equipment. - Adhering to health and safety regulations along with company policies to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements : To be successful in this position, you should possess: - Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles. - Strong comprehension and communication skills for detailed instructions, both verbally and in writing. - An ability to multitask while prioritizing effectively. - A self-motivated attitude and the capability to work independently. - Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. - Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment. - The physical capability to perform the responsibilities associated with this role.
