Responsibilities In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and enhancing backend services for our platform utilizing .NET 8+ within Docker containers. Your role will encompass full-cycle feature development, starting from database architecture to business logic and RESTful APIs. You will contribute to maintaining the platform's scalability, reliability, and overall performance.
Monitoring production services and proactively identifying and resolving issues will also be key aspects of your work. Writing clean and thoroughly tested code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, is essential. You will work collaboratively with product managers, frontend developers, and fellow backend engineers in an agile setting where your insights and feedback are highly valued.
Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or possess equivalent hands-on experience. We seek candidates with a proven track record of delivering backend features independently in a cloud environment, along with robust experience in .NET/C# backend development. Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, experience with Docker and basic container workflows, and knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS are important.
Exposure to message-based or asynchronous systems, microservices concepts, and API-driven architectures is also desired. Comfort in breaking down tasks, estimating project timelines, and delivering features incrementally are essential skills. Additionally, experience or interest in leveraging AI-assisted coding tools will be beneficial.
Fluency in English is required.
