Join Penn Highlands Healthcare as a Patient Care Assistant on our Medical/Surgical Unit in St. Marys, ON. In this essential role, you'll prioritize patient comfort and deliver both direct and indirect nursing support care, making a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys.

Responsibilities **
• Assess and prioritize patient needs to ensure optimal comfort and care • Provide comprehensive direct and indirect nursing support services • Collaborate with healthcare teams on the Med/Surg Unit • Maintain patient safety and quality care standards • Support patients and families during their healthcare experience
**
Requirements **
• High school diploma or equivalent (or current enrollment in health assistant vocational program) • CPR certification required (or must obtain within 6 months of hiring) • Comprehensive Crisis Management certification must be completed within 12 months • Previous patient care experience or completion of one healthcare-related semester preferred
