The Laser Engineer at Foundational will play a vital role in managing the laser subsystem of satellite laser ranging stations, ensuring precise distance measurements to satellites. Key responsibilities include selecting and qualifying pulsed laser sources, integrating lasers into the stations, characterising their performance, and enhancing reliability for unattended operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with solid-state or fibre lasers, along with beam characterisation skills and
