Responsibilities In this role, you will immerse yourself within the customer environment, offering top-notch support for Nokia IP/MPLS platforms. Your duties will include: - Designing and creating IP network architectures tailored to customer needs. - Formulating specific implementation and migration strategies for Nokia IP systems. - Configuring and deploying Nokia 7750 SR, 7705, and 7250 routers alongside related services. - Conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting during deployment phases. - Evaluating network performance, scalability, and security, and suggesting improvements. - Crafting management and optimization strategies for sustained network reliability. - Preparing and reviewing essential technical documents, including Statements of Work (SOW). - Facilitating technical training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives with customer teams. - Assisting with customer readiness and migration activities, including maintenance windows.

Requirements To thrive in this position, candidates must: - Reside in Canada and be available for full-time, on-site work in Ottawa. - Have 4-6 years of direct experience with Nokia IP/MPLS platforms. - Possess a strong understanding of IP protocols (routing, switching, MPLS, QoS, security). - Be well-versed in Nokia 7750 SR, 7705, and 7250 router platforms. - Exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills and effective communication tailored for customer interactions. - Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Preferred candidates will have Nokia SRC certifications (NRS I, NRS II, or SRA).
### Nice-to-Have
Skills Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible), knowledge of SDN and NFV technologies, and experience with IP network security best practices would be advantageous. Exposure to carrier-grade network design and advanced troubleshooting through packet analysis tools (such as Wireshark) is also a plus.
