As we expand our European field team, we are on the lookout for a Solutions Engineer eager to engage with decision-makers in the AI infrastructure arena.
Responsibilities In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with senior engineers and account executives, gaining insights into the design and sales of enterprise AI systems while taking charge of technical interactions with our clients. Your tasks will include: - Assisting in technical evaluations and proof-of-concept projects alongside experienced Solutions Engineers and Account Executives to help prospects assess Qdrant’s capabilities on their actual workloads. - Creating demo environments, sample integrations, and reference architectures to highlight Qdrant’s strengths in RAG pipelines, semantic search, and agentic systems. - Addressing technical inquiries from potential customers and translating their infrastructure needs into effective solutions. - Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape surrounding vector search and AI infrastructure, contributing to the creation of battlecards, technical manuals, and internal knowledge resources. - Representing Qdrant in online communities, developer forums, and European technology events to establish your technical presence. - Collaborating directly with our product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback that influences our roadmap.
Requirements What We’re Looking For: - 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or a related technical field. - Proficiency in coding, especially in Python, with familiarity in other programming languages being a bonus. - A genuine interest in AI infrastructure, demonstrated by previous projects involving LLMs, embeddings, or vector search. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling you to clearly articulate technical tradeoffs. - Self-motivated and proactive in seeking solutions and knowledge independently. - Located in Europe and available to work during European business hours.
Nice to Have: - Exposure to vector search, approximate nearest neighbor algorithms, or semantic retrieval. -
Experience with cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, or distributed systems. - Familiarity with RAG, agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI), or embedding models. - Background in a customer-focused technical position (support engineering, developer advocacy, technical writing).
