This temporary, on-call position is perfect for those who enjoy an active lifestyle and wish to serve their community.
Responsibilities : As a Delivery Agent, your day will begin at the depot where you will organize and prepare the day’s deliveries. You will drive a Canada Post vehicle and spend the majority of your time outdoors, delivering mail and packages to customers along your route. At the end of the day, you will return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages, ensuring they are ready for future delivery.
Requirements : To succeed in this role, you must possess: - A valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 years (a driver’s abstract is required). - The physical capability to lift up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lbs) regularly. - The ability to work in various weather conditions. - Availability for on-call work. - Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and/or French.
Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include: -
Experience in customer service. - Background in deliveries or driving roles.
