**Responsibilities**
As our IT Support Specialist, you'll deploy and configure hardware/software systems for optimal functionality. You'll upgrade computer systems for software compatibility, implement antivirus protection across all devices, and diagnose technical issues to maintain peak performance. Your role includes repairing or replacing faulty hardware, delivering on-site technical assistance to staff, and proactively managing documentation while performing daily software backups. You'll build strong interdepartmental relationships, provide technical training to colleagues, and ensure seamless IT operations.
**Requirements**
We seek candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. Industry certifications (A+, MS, Oracle, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are valuable assets. You'll need 2+ years in Systems Administration, Security, or Network Administration, plus hands-on experience with printers, copiers, laptops, desktops, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, organizational abilities, and troubleshooting expertise are essential, along with routing technology knowledge (VLANs, port channels, trunking) and exceptional problem-solving skills.
**Compensation**: $67,000-$85,000 annually, plus monthly efficiency bonuses, quarterly retention bonuses, vacation days, 7% RRSP matching, and comprehensive employer-paid benefits. Full-time permanent position, Monday-Friday schedule.
