We are on the lookout for an IT Operations Manager to enhance our internal IT capabilities as we expand.
Responsibilities In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our internal IT operations, ensuring that every employee receives dependable support and that IT requests are handled swiftly. You will oversee the employee IT lifecycle, which encompasses onboarding, offboarding, user provisioning, and access management across our systems. Additionally, you will handle the procurement, configuration, and deployment of devices, maintain accurate asset inventories, and bolster security measures through effective remote device management.
Your role will also involve administering internal productivity and SaaS platforms, managing user access and permissions, and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) to enhance security. You will contribute to our security practices aligned with SOC 2 standards and seek opportunities to automate processes and enhance workflows through tool integrations. Your mission will be to build and refine scalable IT systems that can support our growth as we expand our workforce beyond 100 employees.
Requirements To excel in this role, you should bring over 4 years of experience in IT operations, administration, or management, ideally within fast-paced environments like Series A–C startups or scaleups. A solid background in managing internal SaaS tools and productivity platforms such as Microsoft 365, Drata, and Slack is essential. You should have experience in managing IT processes related to employee onboarding and offboarding, along with a firm grasp of identity and access management practices.
Familiarity with security best practices, including SSO and device security, is crucial, as is a history of improving internal operations through automation or integrations. We value a generalist mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to work independently, along with pragmatic problem-solving skills.
