**Overview**
Aliments Sofina inc. seeks a dedicated IT Computer Technician to deliver comprehensive technology support across our Ontario facilities. Based in Hanover (478 14th St, Hanover, ON N4N 1Z9), you'll serve our locations in Hanover, Mississauga, and Chepstow. Reporting to the Infrastructure and IT Support Sector Coordinator within our Operational Excellence, IT and Major Projects division, you'll ensure exceptional technical service while maintaining our computer infrastructure across multiple sites.

Responsibilities **
• Deliver comprehensive helpdesk assistance both remotely and on-location for all end-users • Provide emergency technical support during off-hours when necessary • Execute hardware/software setups, endpoint rollouts, system configurations, and upgrades • Service, diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix computer systems and peripherals including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and wireless access points • Create and oversee user accounts across Windows, Unix, and telephony platforms • Install and maintain essential system updates and patches • Advocate for and implement cybersecurity best practices and standards • Assist the Network Team with on-location technical requirements • Contribute to infrastructure projects involving networks, servers, and workstations • Maintain detailed documentation following established protocols • Track and manage on-site technology inventory

Requirements **
• Diploma in Computer Systems Technology or equivalent qualification • 3-5 years hands-on IT support experience • Proficiency with desktop/laptop repair, software troubleshooting, print drivers, and application support • Solid understanding of operating systems and business software applications •
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory • VoIP and Octopus ITSM knowledge preferred • Understanding of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP protocols • Outstanding customer service abilities and communication skills • Capacity for independent work and team collaboration • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Bilingual French/English skills advantageous • Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle required for travel between Ontario facilities • Availability for 24/7 support rotation and emergency response
