Overview: Are you passionate about engaging with people and enhancing their experiences? Matera GmbH, located in Berlin, is on the lookout for a HR Student Assistant to play a pivotal role as we rapidly expand from 30 to over 80 employees in just one year. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a seamless Employee & Onboarding Journey for our new team members.
You can work with us in-office or enjoy a flexible hybrid arrangement, starting immediately or within the next three months.
Responsibilities : In your role at Matera, you will: - Design and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires—from the initial contact to their first day at work. - Manage our office environment by handling material orders, setting up workspaces, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. - Assist with administrative tasks like payroll and contract adjustments alongside your core responsibilities. - Organize team events and offsite activities, including Lunch & Learn sessions, summer parties, and our regular MATERA Nights. - Collaborate closely with HR Team Lead Cindy, fellow HR student Chantal, and recruiter Steffen, while taking on significant responsibility for your own projects.
Requirements : What you bring to the table: - A keen interest in effective communication and HR-related topics, with a desire to learn and grow. - Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to your work. - Ideally, you have some prior experience in HR through your studies or training. - Must have: Proficiency in German at C2 level and fluent English.
