Responsibilities : As a Health Care Assistant, your primary duties will include: - Providing assistance to patients with their personal hygiene needs, including toileting, bathing, and grooming. - Monitoring patient comfort and progress, and effectively communicating any changes to the nursing staff. - Aiding patients during meal times and ensuring dietary needs are met. - Measuring and documenting vital signs and maintaining accurate health records. - Safely transporting patients using appropriate assistive devices.
Requirements : To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Completion of Grade 10 and a Health Care Assistant program. - Valid Food Safe Level One certification. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to organize tasks and perform physical duties efficiently. - Familiarity with operating care-related equipment.
