Extoll Gmbh Seeks Staff/Principal Analog Engineer - Remote Opportunity

Extoll Gmbh is searching for an accomplished Staff/Principal Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in Germany/Mannheim or Austria/Villach with hybrid and full remote options available, you'll drive innovation in high-speed data interface development. Responsibilities **

• Design and own analog/mixed-signal and digital/full-custom building blocks and subsystems • Execute complete circuit design and implementation, covering schematics, testbenches, and simulation • Partner with system architects to derive block-level specifications • Collaborate with verification teams on model development • Guide layout teams through physical implementation processes • Mentor and potentially lead smaller design teams • Facilitate design review processes and cross-functional collaboration for timely product launches

Requirements **

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related hardware-focused field • Minimum 10 years of experience (including internships) • Proven expertise in high-speed SerDes design or related areas (PLLs, Rx/Tx analog frontends, high-speed digital custom logic) • Background in mixed-signal designs with digital control loops • Proficiency with Cadence design flow and full-custom EDA tools (Virtuoso Schematic/Layout, ADE Assembler, Spectre) • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal •

Experience with advanced process nodes (FDSOI, FinFET) preferred • Python and TCL scripting knowledge advantageous
