Responsibilities : In the role of DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of integrating software, hardware, and operations, taking our systems to the next level. Your specific tasks will include: - Integrating new hardware providers into our existing system landscape. - Adapting and advancing our proprietary locker operating system based on Debian Linux. - Implementing and testing new features directly on the hardware. - Optimizing and enhancing applications on embedded systems. - Establishing and integrating monitoring solutions to support the operations team. - Analyzing error patterns and continuously improving system stability and operations. - Contributing to the development of our data platform. - Working independently on topics that often require a significant amount of solitary work.
Requirements : While experience is valuable, we prioritize concrete project implementations. A GitHub profile or similar project examples will set you apart. The ideal candidate will have: - Proficiency in Python or Go and a willingness to use both actively; Java knowledge is a plus for understanding existing systems. - A solid foundation in Linux systems. - A genuine interest in hardware with no hesitation to work directly with devices. - Ideally, a background in electronics, media technology, or hardware-related development. - Fluent German and English skills for effective team communication. - A willingness to come into the office for testing purposes (approximately 2 to 4 times a month, more during intense phases).
Nice to have:
Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible, Single Board Computers such as Raspberry Pi, OpenTelemetry, or Clickhouse.

We offer a competitive monthly salary starting at €3,200 gross with willingness for overpayment, plus an annual bonus of €3,000 based on company goals.
