Based in Nuremberg, our client handles projects ranging from tiny houses to multi-story office complexes, focusing on sustainable building practices. The company is looking for a Construction Manager who will not only oversee construction sites but also contribute to shaping construction culture.
Responsibilities As a Construction Manager, you will take charge of your own projects from the purchase agreement to assembly. This includes independently implementing wood modular construction projects from preparation to completion. You will personally support clients and guide them through all phases of the project.
You will address technical inquiries with a solution-oriented approach and identify optimization potential early on, particularly during procurement and execution processes. Your role involves coordinating internal teams and external partners, including the planning team and trades on-site. You will independently find suppliers, obtain quotes, and manage material procurement.
You will maintain control over quality, deadlines, and budgets, intervening proactively when necessary. Additionally, you will actively contribute your experience to the further development of products and processes.
Requirements To qualify as a Construction Manager in Wood Construction, you should possess at least 7 years of professional experience in construction management, ideally in wood or modular construction. A technical education in construction (HTL, FH, TU, or comparable) provides a strong foundation. You are an organizational talent with excellent problem-solving skills.
Project management is not just a buzzword for you; it's a practiced reality, even in high-pressure situations.
Experience on-site, improvisational skills, and resilience are essential attributes. You think entrepreneurially and work independently, methodically, and solution-oriented. Familiarity with digital tools in construction, such as Revit or BIM, is a plus but not mandatory. Proficiency in German, both spoken and written, is required.
Benefits Our client offers a competitive annual salary starting from €65,000 gross, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience and qualifications. As a Construction Manager, you will receive a company car for both work and personal use.
