**Overview**
The Shepherd Janitorial Services is seeking a dedicated cleaning professional to join our team in Selkirk, MB. This position offers flexible scheduling including morning, day, and on-call shifts in a non-smoking work environment. Room and board accommodation is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities **
You'll maintain cleanliness across diverse facilities including office buildings, warehouses, and churches throughout urban areas. Core duties include sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing all floor surfaces, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstered items. You'll ensure kitchens and bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with fresh towels and toiletries.
Additional tasks involve cleaning elevators, managing lost and found items, removing debris, emptying waste containers, and performing general housekeeping duties. Window, wall, and ceiling cleaning are also required. You'll serve as a facility information resource for visitors, address customer concerns professionally, and participate in church-related humanitarian and social service activities when applicable.

Requirements **
Candidates need 1 to less than 7 months of relevant cleaning experience and must possess a valid driver's licence (subject to verification). No formal education credentials are required. We're looking for someone who demonstrates flexibility, strong organizational skills, honesty, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Physical demands include extended periods of sitting and walking. You must meet our language requirements and be prepared to work various shifts as needed.
Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
