Responsibilities : As the BSA Officer, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our financial crimes program within the US. Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer of the Americas, you will be the key decision-maker responsible for financial crime risk management. Your primary duties will include: - Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute a comprehensive compliance strategy for the US, aligning with global FinCRO objectives.

Utilize AI, data science, and automation to enhance our effectiveness, and regularly report to the US Board on the status and impact of the BSA/AML program. - BSA/AML Program Oversight: Take ownership of the company’s BSA/AML program, ensuring it is adept at preventing, detecting, and reporting financial crimes including money laundering and terrorist financing. - Regulatory Management: Engage proactively with regulatory bodies to influence the future of fintech oversight and promote tech-driven compliance solutions. You will serve as the primary liaison with regulators and represent Stripe in the US. - External Influence: Act as a thought leader within the payments sector, representing Stripe in various forums to modernize regulatory expectations for the fintech landscape. - Partner and Relationship Management: Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with key financial partners such as banks and payment networks. Educate these partners on Stripe’s financial crime initiatives and serve as the senior contact for any escalated matters.
