Back-end Engineer for AI Integration in Stuttgart

Overview: Join our dynamic integrations team at Nextcloud as a Back-end Engineer specializing in AI and PHP/Python development. Located in Stuttgart, you will collaborate with fellow engineers to enhance our server back-end with innovative features such as advanced authentication methods, storage solutions, and audio/video communication functionalities. Your role will also involve integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities into the Nextcloud platform, including language models, speech recognition, and image processing.

Responsibilities : - Develop and implement new features for the Nextcloud server back-end. - Integrate AI services and models using Python, APIs, and microservices. - Design and maintain databases to support various functionalities. - Contribute to systems design and ensure quality assurance across projects. - Work on specific projects within set timeframes to achieve targeted outcomes.

Requirements : - Proficient in PHP, with foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. -

Experience with Python for AI and machine learning integrations. - Familiarity with popular front-end frameworks such as VueJS, React, Angular, or Svelte. - Understanding of AI frameworks like Hugging Face or LangChain. - Knowledge of REST APIs and AI-based services. -

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and model deployment processes. - Background in speech, vision, or natural language processing integrations is a plus. -
