AZ Flatbed Driver - Davidson Contract Services - Kitchener, ON

**Overview**

Davidson Contract Services is seeking an experienced flatbed truck driver to join our transportation team in Kitchener, ON. This role involves operating tractor-trailer equipment across local and regional routes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

**Responsibilities**

• Plan and adjust delivery routes using GPS and navigation technology to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections including tires, brakes, lights, and cold storage systems
• Safely secure cargo through proper tarping techniques and load management
• Maintain professional customer service standards at all delivery locations
• Communicate effectively with central dispatch for route coordination and updates
• Monitor vehicle condition and performance throughout transportation duties
• Work flexible schedules including early morning, evening, day, and night shifts

**Requirements**

• Valid AZ class commercial driver's license
• Secondary school graduation certificate
• 2-3 years of flatbed trucking experience
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Experience with GPS and navigation systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Must provide own cellular phone and safety vest
• Flexibility, patience, and professional judgment
