📋 Job Description
**Overview**
Airbnb's Channel Communications team seeks a Social Media Manager to join our Social Reputation division in Ireland. Since welcoming our first three guests in San Francisco back in 2007, Airbnb has evolved into a global community connecting over 5 million hosts with billions of travelers worldwide. You'll play a crucial role in protecting and enhancing our brand's social presence while leading cross-regional teams to navigate the dynamic social media landscape.
**Responsibilities**
• Monitor social media channels daily to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and conversation opportunities in real-time
• Lead cross-regional teams through coaching, feedback delivery, and cultivating high-performance standards
• Develop response strategies for social issues and maintain proactive communication with leadership and stakeholders
• Compile comprehensive reports including quarterly assessments, social listening data, performance metrics, and quality evaluations
• Conduct quality assurance reviews ensuring our social content remains accurate, timely, and impactful
• Optimize workflows and operational processes to enhance efficiency across all business functions
• Build strong collaborative relationships with Community Support, Communications, Trust Operations, Policy, Marketing, and Crisis Management teams
• Create training materials, playbooks, and best practice guides for rapid social media response protocols
• Lead regional and global initiatives that drive measurable impact
• Draft, approve, and publish engaging content across multiple social media platforms
**Requirements**
• Social media expertise with strong background in social listening and monitoring
• Proven experience in swift crisis response and issue management
• Demonstrated team management capabilities with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
• Proactive problem-solving approach with excellent stakeholder relationship skills
• Ability to excel under pressure, tight deadlines, and changing priorities
• Strong analytical skills for campaign assessment and data-driven improvement strategies

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
